A motorcycle accident claimed the life of 24-year-old Albert L. Phillips near Dover, Shawnee County, on the morning of June 3.
Authorities reported that Phillips was found near SW 41st and Crawford Road, approximately two miles northeast of Dover.
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a fatality accident, according to spokeswoman Abigail Christian.
K-4 highway was temporarily closed in the area to facilitate the investigation and ensure safety.
