KENNEWICK, Wash. — A 36-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on the northbound U.S. 395 offramp at West Columbia Drive on August 19 at 3:55 p.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the motorcyclist, traveling at a high rate of speed, failed to navigate the curve, collided with a guardrail, and was thrown from the bike.
The offramp has been closed for investigation, and authorities expect it to remain shut down for a significant duration. The Kennewick Police Department is advising motorists to seek alternative routes to avoid the area.
Emergency responders were on the scene, and further details regarding any additional injuries have not been confirmed.
