LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. (WNYT) — A motorcycle crash seriously injured a Queensbury man on June 8, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:13 p.m. as William Smith, 56, was traveling north on State Route 9N. Authorities reported that Smith lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a guardrail.
Lake Luzerne EMS transported Smith to the scene, where he was subsequently airlifted to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
Response to the crash included assistance from the New York State Police, Lake Luzerne Volunteer Fire Department, and LifeNet of New York. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
