Three Dead, One Injured in Upper Marlboro Motorcycle Collision
UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Three people died and one was injured early Sunday morning in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on Route 301, according to authorities.
Maryland State Police responded to the incident at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of Route 301 at Governors Park Lane. The crash occurred when a Tesla, making a left turn onto Governors Park Lane, failed to yield to a southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the Tesla. Two individuals on the motorcycle and a passenger in the Tesla were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tesla was transported to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Maryland State Police are investigating the incident.
