Lakewood Township, NJ (August 6, 2025) – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday, August 5, at approximately 5 p.m. A 67-year-old man from Seaside Heights, identified as Antonio Vinagre, was killed when his Honda CBR motorcycle collided with the rear of a Ford SUV in the southbound lanes near milepost 89.9.
According to New Jersey State Police, Vinagre was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was unharmed. No additional injuries were reported.
The roadway was temporarily closed while responders facilitated the investigation, which is ongoing. New Jersey State Police are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
