Linden, NJ (October 8, 2025) – A motorcycle accident resulted in the death of a 20-year-old Linden man on Tuesday evening, October 7, at approximately 9 p.m. The crash occurred at the intersection of Cranford Avenue and Dill Avenue.
According to Capt. Christopher Guenther of the Linden Police Department, a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling southbound on Cranford Avenue when it collided with a 2017 Nissan Altima that was making a U-turn.
Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and transported the motorcyclist to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
As of Wednesday morning, no charges have been filed against the Nissan driver. The Linden Police Department’s Traffic Bureau is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
