LISBON, OH — A 61-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon on State Route 45, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Lisbon Post.
Glenn R. Kennedy of Lisbon was traveling south on his motorcycle just before 1 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound driver attempting to turn left onto Osbourne Road. OSHP confirmed that Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan Altima involved in the incident sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Emergency response included assistance from agencies in Columbiana County, Wellsville, Highlandtown, and West Point. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, with initial reports indicating drugs and alcohol were not factors.
