Loudoun County to Host Electronics Recycling Event on May 16, 2026
Loudoun County will hold an electronics recycling event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Leesburg Park and Ride, located at 41951 Gourley Transit Drive.
The event will accept a range of electronics, including televisions, desktop computers, laptops, printers, and small household appliances. A limit of five items per vehicle will be enforced. Authorities noted that a box measuring 12” x 12” x 12” filled with smaller items will count as one item.
Certain items will not be accepted, including household appliances like refrigerators and air conditioners, as well as VHS tapes and batteries. Additionally, on-site hard drive destruction will be available for a fee, upon request.
Fees apply for the disposal of televisions and monitors, with charges of $20 for CRT televisions and monitors, and $30 for flat screens. Only credit cards will be accepted for payment—no cash or checks.
