THOMASTON, Conn. (WFSB) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Route 8 southbound at Exit 40 on Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported at approximately 1:32 p.m., according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.
State Police confirmed that the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and that Life Star was alerted for possible medical transport.
Authorities reported that Route 8 southbound remains closed in the vicinity of the crash, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
