Multiple Vehicle Accident on I-10 in Mobile Results in Injuries
MOBILE, AL — A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 eastbound near Mile Marker 20 occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in several injuries.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash involved three vehicles, including a passenger car and two trucks. Emergency responders from Mobile Fire-Rescue transported two individuals to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers and passengers of the other vehicles were unharmed.
Authorities reported that the eastbound lanes of I-10 were temporarily closed for about an hour to facilitate the investigation and vehicle removal. Tows were executed for all three involved vehicles. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
