Massachusetts Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Bethlehem Crash.

BETHLEHEM – A 78-year-old Pittsfield man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash on Route 32 at Meads Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 3:36 p.m. when Robert A. Bruno was traveling north on Route 32 and approached a vehicle preparing to turn left onto Meads Lane, authorities said. Bruno lost control of his motorcycle and fell, causing the bike to roll off the road.

A third vehicle swerved to avoid the fallen motorcycle and ended up rolling into an embankment. Bruno sustained serious head injuries and injuries to his internal organs and is currently listed in serious condition at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle turning left was unharmed. The incident is still under investigation, and no charges have been filed, police said.
