Motorcycle Rider Injured in Frankford Ave. Collision
A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a head-on collision at Frankford Ave. and Eden Street around noon today.
According to authorities on scene, a truck, owned by Carr-Duff, was traveling north on Frankford Ave. and attempted to turn left onto Eden Street when it struck the oncoming motorcycle.
Emergency responders from the Philadelphia Fire Department provided medical aid at the scene. The rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No further details on their condition have been released.
The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating the accident. Lane closures were reported on Frankford Ave. during the response and investigation. No additional vehicles were involved in the incident.
