HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A motorcycle crash resulted in one fatality in Horry County on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency responders from Horry County Fire Rescue arrived at the intersection of Highway 501 and Dodge Lane at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The incident involved a motorcycle, ridden by 21-year-old Gavan Goodman of Murrells Inlet, and a Toyota Tundra that was exiting Sparks Toyota, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Goodman died from blunt traumatic injuries, Willard confirmed.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
