SIDNEY, OH — A motorcycle crash involving two vehicles occurred on West Michigan Street shortly after 1:30 a.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja collided with a 2026 Hyundai Kona that was exiting a Speedway gas station.
The rider of the motorcycle, identified as 34-year-old Omar Rivera of Sidney, sustained serious injuries and was initially transported to Wilson Hospital by Sidney EMS before being transferred to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight.
Authorities are actively investigating the crash. No further details on the conditions of other individuals involved have been released.
Lane closures were reported in the area during the investigation.
