BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving two vehicles on Friday afternoon.
At approximately 3:17 p.m., the Battle Creek Police Department (BCPD) was called to the scene of the crash on East Columbia Avenue at the M-66 overpass.
Authorities reported that a 52-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Columbia Avenue when he struck the rear of another vehicle. A second collision occurred shortly thereafter.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to BCPD. No other injuries have been reported.
