AMITE COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A motorcycle crash on Highway 584 in Amite County resulted in a fatality on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. involving a 2003 Honda Motorcycle operated by 61-year-old Andre Bayhi II from Osyka, Mississippi.
Bayhi was traveling west when he left the roadway and collided with a ditch, sustaining fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
