Motorcyclist dies in three-vehicle crash on Highway K in Kenosha County, WI.

JULY 1, 2025, UPDATE: The deceased in the June 25 crash has been identified as 21-year-old Luis A. Flores-Garcia of Kenosha, WI. Ongoing investigation.

ORIGINAL JUNE 26, 2025, RELEASE: On June 25, 2025, at 8:49 PM, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office (KESO), along with Village of Bristol Fire and Rescue and Town of Paris Fire and Rescue, responded to a three-vehicle crash at the 18400 block of CTH K/60th Street, near the intersection of CTH D and 184th Avenue.

A motorcycle operated by a 21-year-old man was traveling east on CTH K at high speed when it collided with a full-size pickup truck attempting to turn left onto CTH D. The impact ejected the motorcycle operator, who then struck a nearby SUV, becoming lodged in its windshield and front passenger area. Both the motorcycle and SUV subsequently caught fire.

The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. The pickup truck driver and one passenger, as well as the SUV operator, sustained minor injuries but remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. Authorities do not suspect intoxicants as a factor in the truck and SUV drivers, but excessive speed appears to have contributed to the motorcycle accident.

Due to the fatality, the Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) is investigating the incident. The identity of the motorcycle operator was initially withheld out of respect for the family.

The investigation is ongoing. For information regarding this crash, contact the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office at 262-605-5100.
