SANTA CLARA — A 20-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision with a car on Kiely Boulevard Tuesday night, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 9:08 p.m. at the intersection of Kiely Boulevard and Kaiser Drive, according to the Santa Clara Police Department. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was riding a Honda motorcycle when he collided with a silver Kia carrying two occupants. The driver of the Kia sustained a minor injury, while the passenger was unhurt.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will confirm the victim’s identity after notifying next of kin. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
