Motorcyclist Killed in Colorado Springs Crash Identified
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO—Jason Mullet, 43, was identified as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on South Nevada Avenue early on May 17, 2026.
Colorado Springs Police responded to the collision near the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue at 12:20 a.m., where Mullet collided with a car making a left turn. A passenger on Mullet’s motorcycle and three individuals from the other vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Authorities indicated that speed was a contributing factor in the crash. Mullet marks the 23rd traffic fatality in Colorado Springs for the year, compared to 14 fatalities at the same time last year.
