Motorcyclist injured following collision with deer in Ralls County.

A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Thursday night in Ralls County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:53 p.m. on April 9, 2026, along Route HH, about four miles west of Hannibal.

According to the report, a 34-year-old man from Hannibal was riding a 1977 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound when he struck a deer in the roadway.

The rider sustained serious injuries and was transported by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The motorcycle incurred minor damage and was towed from the scene by Branhams.

Assisting agencies included the Ralls County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Ambulance, Hannibal Rural Fire, and additional personnel from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
