ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A motorcycle crash early Sunday morning on Innovation Way resulted in one fatality and one injury.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred at approximately 1:41 a.m. Both motorcycles were traveling northbound when they failed to navigate a curve, left the roadway, and struck a curb.
The rider of a 2015 Yamaha FZ-09 was thrown from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at the scene. The second rider, operating a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to AdventHealth East for treatment.
The crash is currently under active investigation by authorities.
