Delaware Township, PA (July 26, 2026) – A motorcycle crash involving an SUV resulted in one fatality and one injury at the intersection of State Route 405 and State Route 44 on Saturday afternoon, July 25.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, 50-year-old Adam Erdly of Montgomery was traveling northbound on State Route 405 when an eastbound SUV entered the intersection without clearance.
Authorities reported that Erdly’s motorcycle struck the SUV’s passenger-side tire. He suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported for medical evaluation, but was later pronounced dead. Details regarding the time and location of his death have not been released.
The SUV driver was taken to a nearby hospital with reported minor injuries, while a passenger received treatment at the scene for minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
