A motorcyclist died after losing control and crashing on Kent Avenue in Hartville on Saturday night, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency responders were dispatched to Kent Avenue, between Andrews Street Northeast and Manning Road, shortly before 9 p.m. for a single-vehicle crash. Authorities reported the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Kent Avenue, also known as State Route 43, when it lost control at a curve and went off the roadway.
The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released. They were transported to an Akron hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The investigation into the crash is being conducted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Canton Metro Crash Team. Further details regarding lane closures and vehicle tows were not immediately available.
