MONROE, La. (KNOE) – A motorcycle crash on Martin Luther King Dr. resulted in the death of 17-year-old Aiden Shaffer on May 14 at 8:40 p.m., according to the Monroe Police Department.
Authorities stated evidence suggests Shaffer was operating his vehicle in a reckless manner at the time of the incident.
A routine toxicology exam will be conducted to assess whether impairment contributed to the crash.
This incident is under investigation. No additional information has been confirmed at this time.
