LINCOLN, R.I. (WJAR) — A 20-year-old man from West Warwick was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Lincoln on Sunday.
According to the Rhode Island State Police, the accident occurred around 2:41 p.m. on the ramp from northbound Rhode Island Route 146 to Interstate 296 south.
Authorities reported that the motorcycle struck the guardrail while attempting to make the turn.
The rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Emergency responders were on the scene to assist.
As of now, the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no additional details regarding lane closures or vehicle involvement have been released.
