One dead and four injured in rollover crash near Jamestown.

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – A Bismarck man is dead and three others are injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 94 near Jamestown on October 2, 2023.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 48-year-old man was driving eastbound when he lost control, entered the median, and overcorrected, causing his pickup to roll off the road. Witnesses reported the incident occurred around 6:40 p.m.

In addition to the deceased driver, a 30-year-old woman and two juveniles sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. A third juvenile suffered minor injuries and was transported by Jamestown Ambulance.

Authorities indicated that none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident. The identities of those involved have not been released.

Emergency responders at the scene included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jamestown Fire, Jamestown Ambulance, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Sanford Airmed, and Avera Careflight. An investigation is ongoing, and lane closures were implemented as crews worked at the crash site.
