PALM SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) — A motorcycle crash involving an SUV resulted in one fatality on Friday at approximately 4:15 p.m.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched to the intersection of 10th Avenue North following reports of the collision. Upon arrival, first responders found a motorcyclist deceased in the roadway.
The crash led to the closure of the intersection, causing northbound traffic on South Congress Avenue to be diverted east onto 10th Avenue North, resulting in significant delays.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene, while the SUV driver declined medical transport, authorities said.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident.
