Motorcycle Crash in Marion County Leaves Quincy Man Seriously Injured
MARION COUNTY, Mo. — A Quincy man, 42, was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 24 on July 1, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was traveling west near Palmyra when the rider lost control while negotiating a curve, causing the bike to depart the roadway on the left side. The impact resulted in the rider being ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported the man to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. No other vehicles were involved, and no road closures were reported.
