Motorcyclist And Pedestrian killed in Las Vegas Accident on Spring Mountain Road

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 9, 2023) – A rider and a pedestrian were killed Saturday night following a collision near South Edmond Street in Las Vegas, according to Metropolitan Police Department.

The deadly crash took place at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the area of Spring Mountain Road and South Edmond Street.

Reportedly, motorcyclist was driving at a high rate of speed approaching on Spring Mountain Road approaching South Edmond Street. At the same time, pedestrian was crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk. The motorcycle struck the pedestrian and both the rider and the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.

Both victims, whose identities have not been made public, were pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional details regarding the crash was provided.
