Seth Taylor Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Linn County on Highway 20

Linn County, Oregon (August 7, 2023) – Authorities identified a Sweet Home resident killed Friday night in a motorcycle crash in Linn County.

According to the Oregon State Police, Seth Allen Ikaika Taylor, 22, of Sweet Home, died in an accident on Highway 20 near milepost 20 at around 9:26 p.m. on August 4.

Taylor was riding a westbound 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by 35-year-old Joshua G. Staley of Sweet Home, tried to make a left turn across Highway 20 near Ingram Street.

The motorcycle slammed into the side of the Dodge as it turned across the highway.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the site.

Staley stayed at the crash location and cooperated with investigators.
