A fatal motorcycle crash occurred at 11:15 a.m. on July 15, 2026, on State Highway 281 in Tully, NY.
According to the New York State Police, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) was turning left from a parking lot when it collided with a motorcycle traveling on the highway.
Jacob P. Lyman, 26, of Homer, NY, was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, Robert M. Brhel, 73, of Fabius, NY, sustained no injuries.
Investigators from the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are on-site assisting with the investigation.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
