GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A man has died following a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck on Tusculum Boulevard on July 7.
According to the Greeneville Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. A pickup truck traveling eastbound began a left turn into a parking lot, reportedly failing to see a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle until it was too late, resulting in a collision.
The motorcyclist, identified as 62-year-old Charles Harmon, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Johnson City Medical Center. He succumbed to his injuries on July 16, authorities said.
The driver of the pickup truck has been cited for failure to yield. Law enforcement stated that the district attorney’s office will be contacted regarding potential further actions.
