Mahnomen Motorcyclist Killed in Fargo Collision Involving Three Vehicles.

FARGO—A 60-year-old Mahnomen man died following a multi-vehicle crash at Main Avenue and South University Drive on Thursday at 3:21 p.m., according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson when he reportedly ran a red light, colliding with a southbound 2023 Subaru Ascent, driven by a 53-year-old Fargo woman, which had a 67-year-old female passenger.

Witnesses stated the impact threw the motorcyclist onto the roadway, where he was struck by a Ford F150 driven by a 23-year-old Fargo man. The motorcycle subsequently hit a 2006 Ford Fusion, operated by a 20-year-old Fargo woman.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Sanford Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. All other involved parties were reported as wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries.

The crash closed the intersection for several hours as Fargo Police redirected traffic. The incident remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
