Three motorcyclists sustained moderate injuries in a crash on Route 9 near New Friendship Road in Howell on March 31.
According to Howell Police, the incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. involving a 33-year-old rider from Brick on a 2026 Suzuki GSX-R750, a 32-year-old from Toms River on a 2011 Kawasaki ZX, and a 24-year-old from Toms River on a 2011 Kawasaki ZX1. All three motorcycles collided while traveling south on Route 9.
Paramedics treated the injured riders at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital. Officials have not released further details regarding their conditions. The investigation into the collision remains active and ongoing.
