Three people injured in motorcycle crash in Osage Beach.

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – Three individuals were injured in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon at U.S. Highway 54 and Key Largo.

Osage Beach Police officers responded to the scene following reports of a collision involving two motorcycles. Upon arrival, officers located both motorcycles and three patients requiring medical attention.

According to the Osage Beach Police Department, a 56-year-old man from Indianola, Iowa, was operating one motorcycle when he slowed abruptly and nearly came to a stop. A second motorcycle, operated by a 50-year-old man with a 55-year-old female passenger, both from Maple Hill, Kansas, attempted to change lanes to avoid a collision.

The Iowa motorcyclist then made a sudden left turn across the inside lane, resulting in a collision with the Kansas motorcycle. Both operators and the passenger were ejected from their motorcycles during the incident.

All three individuals were transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Authorities noted that neither of the motorcyclists nor the passenger were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

The Osage Beach Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident. No further details on the victims’ conditions have been released.
