2 Motorcyclists Killed After Colliding in Tucson, Arizona

Tucson, Arizona (July 3, 2023) – Two motorcycle riders died early Sunday morning following a collision on North Harrison Road in Tucson, according to a police report.

The fatal motorcycle accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. July 2, in the 1600 block of North Harrison Road near East Wrightstown Road.

According to a Tucson Police report, Adam Robert Gregory, 38, was riding a white 2017 Yamaha SCR950 bike, and behind him was 48-year-old Andre Machalik, riding a black Harley Davidson XL1200 bike.

Gregory had just negotiated a curve and was heading south on N. Harrison Road when Machalik drifted into the center lane and hit the concrete barrier island on North Harrison Road. The impact caused Machalik’s bike to rear-end Gregory’s motorcycle.

Unfortunately, both riders sustained fatal injuries and died in the crash. Police say neither of the victims was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
