FRUITPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two residents of Wyoming died in a motorcycle crash in Fruitport Township on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), the incident occurred on Heights Ravenna Road near Mill Iron Road around 3:15 p.m. The victims were traveling westbound on a motorcycle when an eastbound vehicle made a left turn, colliding with them.
Both the motorcyclist and the passenger sustained serious injuries and were pronounced dead at a Muskegon hospital. Authorities identified them as Robert Boot Jr. and Carol Boot.
MCSO reported that Trinity EMS and the Fruitport Fire Department responded to the scene. There were no reports of injuries to the occupants of the other vehicle.
As of now, the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
