Victim’s Identity Revealed in Fatal Crash.

FORT GAY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — The West Virginia State Police have identified a man killed in a head-on collision early Monday on U.S. 52.

Braden Murry, 21, of Louisa, Kentucky, was driving a Toyota Rav4 northbound when he crossed the center line and struck a tractor-trailer around 5:58 a.m.

The tractor-trailer driver was unharmed.

U.S. 52 was closed for several hours but reopened at approximately 10 a.m.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, authorities said.

FORT GAY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — A fatal crash has resulted in the closure of U.S. 52 in Wayne County.

The incident occurred near Cedar Heights Road, according to the West Virginia Department of Highways.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes are currently closed.

Wayne County 911 received the call just before 6 a.m. Monday.
