Multi-Vehicle Crash Claims Life in Knox County on July 4th
Knox County, OH – A multi-vehicle accident on State Route 3 resulted in one fatality on July 4 at approximately 4:15 p.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred near mile marker 15. Emergency responders, including the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and local firefighters, arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. One individual was pronounced dead at the site, while two others sustained injuries and were transported to Knox Community Hospital.
Authorities confirmed that the roadway was temporarily closed in both directions for approximately two hours to facilitate the investigation and cleanup. A tow service removed the vehicles involved.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
