ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person died following a hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle near Menaul Boulevard Northeast and San Pedro Drive Northeast on Monday.
Authorities reported that at approximately 6:41 p.m., a black pickup truck driving east on Menaul Boulevard merged into a lane occupied by a motorcycle, striking both the motorcyclist and their passenger. First responders transported the injured individuals to an area hospital, where the passenger later died.
The Fatal Crash Unit of the Albuquerque Police Department is conducting an investigation into the incident. No further details have been released regarding potential charges or the driver’s identity.
