VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – A fatal motorcycle crash occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of Frye Street and Crossland Road, resulting in one death and charges against the driver.
According to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies discovered a deceased woman near the motorcycle at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities reported that the driver, 43-year-old Robert Sekerak, fled the scene after the crash. He was later transported to an emergency room by an individual unaware of any other victims involved.
