AMITE COUNTY, Miss. — A 61-year-old Osyka man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 584 at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 20.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the incident involved a 2003 Honda motorcycle that veered off the road and into a ditch. The rider, identified as Andre Bayhi II, sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation by authorities.
