An 18-year-old man from Moberly sustained serious injuries in a crash Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 63 in Cairo, Missouri.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:11 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A Toyota minivan, driven by a 43-year-old woman from Madison, failed to yield to the Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by the 18-year-old, resulting in a collision.
Emergency responders transported the 18-year-old to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of his injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Authorities reported no injuries for the 43-year-old woman.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no lane closures were reported.
