Motorcyclist Dies After Crash on Independence Boulevard in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in a crash on Independence Boulevard in southeast Charlotte on March 26, according to police.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the incident at East Independence Boulevard near Sardis Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. Authorities found a damaged motorcycle and a Chevrolet Impala involved in the crash. The motorcyclist, identified as 34-year-old Adian Lynn Garcia, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Garcia succumbed to her injuries on March 31, police confirmed. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
