A motorcyclist died Sunday evening in a collision on Route 4 in Jay.
The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. when Benjamin St. Pierre, 47, and 44-year-old Charles Meisner were riding south near Raymond’s Way. According to the Jay Police Department, the two motorcycles collided, resulting in fatal injuries for St. Pierre and serious injuries for Meisner, who was transported to the hospital.
Authorities confirmed that St. Pierre was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation, and no additional details regarding lane closures or vehicular damage have been released.
