Motorcycle Crash Claims Life in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A 59-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on County Road 35 on Saturday at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The man lost control of his motorcycle while attempting to make a left turn, hitting a traffic sign before being thrown from the bike, FHP officials said.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, authorities confirmed.
The incident is currently under investigation by FHP.
