LAROSE, La. —
A 50-year-old motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 308 near East 37th Street on Monday around 2 p.m.
According to the Louisiana State Police, Robert Luent of Larose was ejected from his 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle after it traveled off the roadway and overturned. Luent was wearing a DOT-approved helmet, but sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The roadway remains available for normal traffic; however, the investigation is ongoing. Further information is not available at this time.
