BUTLER — A motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning left a Bryan, Ohio man injured on C.R. 40, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., Jared Z. Osborne, 35, lost control of his 2002 Kawasaki Ninja while traveling westbound in the 8100 block. Authorities reported that he failed to negotiate a turn and veered off the roadway into a gravel driveway, colliding with trash cans before coming to a stop.
Osborne sustained left shoulder pain and was transported to an area hospital by ambulance for treatment. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The motorcycle is considered a total loss.
The Butler Fire Department, Parkview EMS, Jeff’s Towing, and DeKalb County Central Communications assisted at the scene. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
