ST. BERNARD PARISH, LA — Fatal Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 52-Year-Old Man
A motorcycle crash on LA 46 east near LA 300 in St. Bernard Parish resulted in the death of 52-year-old Ronald Besendorfer of Chalmette on Wednesday at approximately 10:00 a.m.
According to Louisiana State Police, Besendorfer was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson when he lost control, veered off the road, and was ejected. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Troopers reported that Besendorfer sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Details regarding the cause of the crash are still under investigation. It remains unclear if speed or impairment contributed to the crash; a toxicology test will be conducted following an autopsy.
