Suspected Impaired Driver Arrested for Vehicular Homicide Following Fatal Bienville Parish Crash

Bienville Parish, LA – On December 6, 2025, at 10:35 p.m., a single-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 155 claimed the life of 27-year-old Natalie Waller of Bastrop.

According to Louisiana State Police, a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 33-year-old Tanner Hill of New Port Richey, FL, was traveling north on Louisiana Highway 155 when it exited the roadway and struck a tree. Waller, a passenger in the vehicle, was properly restrained but suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hill sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities suspected impairment and arrested Hill for vehicular homicide. He was processed at the Bienville Parish Jail, with toxicology samples collected for analysis.

This crash remains under investigation. Louisiana State Police remind motorists that alcohol and drug impairment are involved in nearly half of all fatal crashes in the state. They urge drivers to make safe choices, avoid distractions, and adhere to traffic laws.
